By creating an account, accessing, or using FieldRecap(the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of FieldRecap. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
FieldRecap is an AI-assisted writeup generation tool that converts voice recordings and photographs into written service reports for field technicians. The Service uses artificial intelligence to transcribe audio, extract information from images, and generate text.
The Service is a productivity tool only. It does not provide professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to engineering, legal, safety, or regulatory advice.
ALL CONTENT GENERATED BY THIS SERVICE IS AI-GENERATED AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OMISSIONS, OR MISIDENTIFICATIONS.
You are solely and entirely responsible for reviewing every writeup generated by the Service for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness before:
AI-generated equipment data (including make, model, serial number, manufacture date, refrigerant type, and electrical specifications) extracted from photographs may be incorrect even when photographs are clear. Equipment nameplate text may be misread or misinterpreted. You must verify all extracted equipment information against the physical equipment before relying on it.
AI-generated summaries of spoken voice recordings may misquote, omit, paraphrase, or embellish what you said. You must review the generated summary against your actual recollection of the job before using it.
The operator of FieldRecap expressly disclaims all liability for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content and for any consequences arising from your use of such content without independent verification.

You are solely responsible for the content of your voice recordings and photographs uploaded to the Service. Do not upload content that contains personally identifiable information about third parties beyond what is necessary for a service writeup, confidential business information belonging to your employer, or any content that violates applicable law.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Only one active session is permitted per account at any time. Logging in on a new device will invalidate any existing session on another device. You may not share your account with any other person. Account sharing is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis at $9.99 per month following a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. The trial is a one-time benefit per email address.
Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis until canceled. You may cancel at any time through the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access through the end of the period you paid for.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. To request a refund, contact support within 14 days of your first charge. Refunds are processed manually and issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email address. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Your voice recordings, photographs, transcripts, and generated writeups are your data. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data with your employer or any other user. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Voice audio files are deleted immediately after transcription. Only the text transcript is retained. Photographs and writeups are retained for as long as your account is active, subject to the history cap described below.
Active accounts retain up to 50 writeups at any time. Writeups older than 30 days that exceed the 50-writeup limit are automatically deleted on a nightly basis.
Upon account deletion or cancellation, all of your data will be deleted within 30 days. We recommend copying any writeups you wish to retain before deleting your account.

You retain ownership of your voice recordings and photographs. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
The AI-generated writeup text produced by the Service from your inputs is yours to use. We claim no ownership over generated writeups.
The FieldRecap application, including its design, code, prompts, and branding, is owned by the operator and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without permission.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE OPERATOR OF FIELDRECAP, ITS AFFILIATES, AND ITS LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, including but not limited to: account sharing, abusive usage patterns, non-payment, or using the Service for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Sections 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11 of these Terms survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email to your registered address or by a notice within the app. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
