The whole point of FieldRecap is getting clean text into whatever system you already use. Here's how copying works.
Tap the large Copy Writeup button at the top of the writeup screen. The entire writeup — equipment, findings, and recommendations — is copied to your clipboard as plain text, ready to paste anywhere.
Each section has its own small Copy button in the top-right corner:
Use section copying when you only need part of the writeup — for example, pasting just the findings into a notes field or just the equipment data into an asset record.
Plain text. No markdown, no formatting codes. It pastes cleanly into any CRM, invoicing tool, text message, email, or notes app without leaving asterisks or symbols behind.
No. Photos are shown on the writeup screen for your reference but are never included in the copied text. The writeup is text-only.
On the history screen, each writeup has a small copy icon on the right side. Tapping it copies the full writeup without having to open it first — useful when you're working fast and just need to grab text quickly.
