If a writeup isn't quite right — the summary missed something, the options aren't what you wanted, or the tone is off — you can regenerate it without re-recording anything.
Scroll to the bottom of the writeup screen and tap Regenerate. A dialog will appear with an optional instructions field.
This is where regeneration gets powerful. You can tell the AI exactly what to fix:
Leave the instructions field blank to regenerate with the same inputs — useful if the first attempt produced a bad result and you just want a fresh try.
Regeneration replaces the current writeup in place — it does not create a second entry in your history. Your photos and voice transcript are reused.
Regeneration uses the same AI pipeline as the original generation. It counts against your daily limit the same way a new writeup does.
If something goes wrong, the writeup will show a failure message. Tap Try Again to retry. If the problem persists, check your connection and try again in a few minutes.
