Your data and privacy

Your data belongs to you. Here's exactly what we store and what we do with it.

What we store

• Your email address — for login, receipts, and occasional product emails
• Text transcripts of your voice notes — used to generate writeups, retained with the writeup
• Photos you upload — stored securely and accessible only to your account
• Generated writeups — stored in your history up to the 50-writeup cap

What we delete immediately

Voice audio files are deleted from our servers immediately after transcription. We never store recordings — only the text transcript. Within seconds of your audio being transcribed, the audio file is gone.

What we never do

• Never sell your data to anyone
• Never share your writeups with your employer — your activity is private to you
• Never use your content to train AI models — your photos, recordings, and writeups are never used to improve AI systems
• Never show your data to other users

History cap

Your account keeps up to 50 writeups at a time. Writeups older than 30 days that push you over the cap are automatically deleted overnight. This keeps your storage costs predictable at $9.99/month pricing.

You can see your current count in Settings → Writeups stored.

When you delete your account

All of your data — account info, writeups, photos, and transcripts — is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion. This is irreversible.

We recommend copying any writeups you want to keep before deleting your account.
